What Salim is, and is not
Salim is an educational self-help tool for people affected by OCD. It is not therapy, a diagnosis, medical advice or a crisis service, and its content has not been clinically validated. It does not replace a GP or qualified therapist. If you are in danger, call 999. Urgent help is always available without an account.
Your account
You need an account and a verified email address to use Salim. Keep your password private. We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the service or to avoid the one-free-month rule.
Salim Supporter: price and free month
- Price: £4.99 per month (GBP), renewing monthly until you cancel.
- The first month is free, once per person. It lasts one calendar month from the day you start. It does not restart if you sign out, change device or change email address.
- Before you start, the checkout page and your account show the exact date the free month ends and what happens next.
- By default no payment details are taken to start the free month, and you are not charged automatically when it ends: access stops unless you choose to subscribe. If we ever change this so a payment method is collected at the start, we will say so clearly on the pricing page and in checkout before you agree, and the first payment would then be taken when the free month ends unless you cancel first.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Your account using “Cancel subscription”, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you have already had or paid for, and you will not be charged again. Your account stays open until you delete it.
Refunds and your right to cancel

Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it and we keep your access for a short grace period of 7 days; if payment still does not succeed, access stops until you update your payment method.
Acceptable use
Use Salim for yourself, lawfully, and do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service or its billing.
Availability
We aim to keep Salim available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. [TO CONFIRM: Liability limits, governing law and the business’s legal name and address]
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). Deleting cancels any subscription immediately. Do not delete the account as a way to avoid the one-free-month rule; it will not give you a second one.
